Hi! My name is April and this is Chopshop Salvaged Apparel. I take vintage and modern textiles and turn them into one of a kind, handmade, feel good, dopamine filled pieces. 
There are 2 sides to Chopshop. 
The "Chopshop" creations are upcycled and/or redesigned vintage pieces like jackets, jeans, overalls, coveralls, and tops.
The "Busy Girl" line is comfort without giving up style and fun. This line is handmade by me from patterns designed by me and includes jackets, coats, joggers, pants, bloomers and more. Most all pieces are made from vintage quilts, quilt tops, deadstock fabrics and vintage materials combined with modern-day fabrics. Some newer designs are made with new fabric that's just to beautiful to pass up.
I love making new pieces out of vintage textiles BUT who's creating the next generation of handmade vintage pieces? The very idea of someone finding one of my items at an estate sale in 2070. Finding the tag, realizing it's handmade, figuring out what decade it's from by the materials and patterns, putting it on, getting excited. Basically all the things I do now when I find an amazing vintage piece. That's the dream.
I never know what my next piece will be. I only make things I'm excited about.
